Mission Statement (or – What we do!)

We formed and dedicated this group to promote the safe and enjoyable recreational use of ATVs of all kinds through-out the State of Alaska.

How we do it

Education – Help to make ATVers better riders and users of Public Lands
* Give ATV riders a peer group that follows the rules on rides
* Help provide or make available ATV Safety/Riding classes
* Help make ATVers and the public more aware of Alaska State laws concerning ATV use.

*Trail Work - Work to preserve full use of all existing ATV or multi-use trails, areas and access points.
---Sponsor, coordinate or cooperate in dedicated cleanup efforts for heavy use areas.
---Work to physically maintain trails and access points.
* Work with like minded groups to preserve access. *Riding - Explore, as a group or just a few people getting together, ATV trails through-out South-Central Alaska on scheduled rides.
* Gather and share knowledge of trails with other members.
* Find other riders who share your style and reason for riding

We meet at 7 PM the first Thursday of every month at the Eagle River VFW. Come by and sit in for a meeting even if you aren’t a member yet!

The Spring 2008 Jim Creek Cleanup was another success. 425 people registered and collected 8.5 tons of trash. The largest gathering of ATVers in Alaska and we do it to pick up trash!
